Biscuit

Ch Northbay Xsell Sippin on Sunrays

Meet Our Sweet Biscuit Girl Biscuit is truly one of those special dogs who brings joy wherever she goes. She is my little girl’s best friend, and the two of them love doing 4-H together. They recently started showing together, and watching their relationship grow has been so special. Biscuit is incredibly loyal, calm, loving, and always happiest when she is with the kids. She has a wonderful temperament and takes new experiences in stride. Whether she’s being groomed, traveling, attending an event, or simply spending time with the family, Biscuit is an absolute joy to have along. She is highly food motivated, loves her treats, and is always eager to please. Her easygoing nature and willingness to go anywhere make her such a wonderful companion and show partner. Biscuit earned her ASCA Champion title very quickly, and she is well on her way to becoming a UKC Champion. Next year, we look forward to pursuing her AKC Championship as well. Health & Testing Biscuit has completed her recommended health testing through OFA. We believe in being open and transparent about the health of our dogs and are always happy to answer questions about her results. One elbow passed while the other is grade 1. She injured herself when she was 12 weeks old. After crate rest the vet said everything looked great. OFA results came back this year and they passed one elbow but not the other. My vet is shocked they both didn’t pass. If you have questions about Biscuit’s OFA results or would like to see her elbow radiographs, please reach out. I’m more than happy to chat, share her information, and answer any questions you may have. Biscuit is not only a beautiful girl, but a wonderful example of the temperament, versatility, and partnership we strive for at Rock Canyon Australian Shepherds.

Sally

Ch Kickinauss Blue Saxe to the max

Meet Sally Sally is our sweet Miniature American Shepherd and an AKC Champion. Although her show career was brief, she finished her championship with ease, and we couldn’t be more proud of her. We are so thankful to have her as part of both our family and our breeding program. Sally has a gentle, sensitive soul. She’s a little reserved when meeting new people, but once she knows you, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through. She loves to play, enjoys being with her family, and has a calm, loving nature that makes her such a special companion. If you’ve always loved Australian Shepherds but are looking for one on the smaller side, Sally is a wonderful example of the Miniature American breed. She has the intelligence, athleticism, and loyal heart Aussies are known for, all in a more compact package. We are so excited to watch Sally’s journey as a mom and can’t wait to see her gentle temperament and beautiful qualities passed on to her puppies. She is a cherished part of our family, and we’re incredibly thankful to have her here at Rock Canyon.

Elvira

Northwest Rainbows My Hearts On Fire

Elvira Elvira is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. She has a gentle, easygoing personality and gets along with everyone she meets people, puppies, and other dogs alike. Around here, she’s known as our little babysitter. She absolutely loves helping with the puppies and can often be found watching over them with the sweetest, nurturing nature. She’s also wonderful with children and especially enjoys following our toddler around, always wanting to be part of whatever adventure is happening. When it’s time to water the fruit trees, Elvira’s playful side comes out. She thinks the muddy ground is her own personal slip and slide and has the best time splashing and rolling around! Elvira is everything we could ask for in an Australian Shepherd loving, loyal, playful, and dependable. We are incredibly thankful to have her as part of both our breeding program and our family.
